My Journey

       Relaxology Therapy
ALL ABOUT ME  Julie Bradshaw

I am a passionate, dedicated, mature holistic/complementary therapist working in this capacity since 2016. I love empowering clients to understand their bodies and to help relieve pain and discomfort associated with long term injuries, autoimmune disorders, stress related conditions alongside many other ailments.

Discovering reflexology whilst going through an illness which left me feeling exhausted, lacking in confidence and dispirited Reflexology helped me to regain a healthy sleep pattern, total relaxation helped improve my physical, mental well-being, whilst lifting my spirit helping me to regain self-confidence.

Having worked in a voluntary capacity within a local children's hospice, was extremely rewarding. I certainly have high praise for the professionals working within that environment on a daily basis offering so much support and professional intervention with such dedication.

I conscientiously look to integrate new treatments and therapies into my practice believing that continued learning is important for any passionate Holistic Therapist.

Having studied initially Reflexology alongside Anatomy, Physiology & Pathology I became a qualified VTCT therapist registered with the Federation of Holistic Therapists (FHT Member No - 187075) and the Complementary & Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC Member No 02091).

Continuing to have a thirst for complementary therapy I later qualified as a Massage therapist through ITEC/VTCT, offering remedial massage therapy for soreness, aches and pains within the body, helping to encourage good blood flow to oxygenate the muscles to aid recovery,  improving physical, mental and spiritual health.

2022 - 2023 I studied and qualified as a Reflexology Lymphatic Drainage (RLD) therapist, this is extremely rewarding as it helps clients suffering with symptoms of Lymphoedema, particularly after cancer surgery, especially where Lymph nodes have been removed, often resulting in swelling of limbs, torso, tightness and discomfort in various areas of the body, lack of energy, sleep disruption.  RLD can help the Lymphatic system to work more efficiently in order to reduce and alleviate these symptoms.  RLD can also help many clients who suffer with inflammatory

auto-immune conditions.

Many clients enjoy the Indian Head Massage, feeling the benefits of tension release almost immediately.  This massage can help with blocked sinuses, tension headaches, sleep deprivation.

I also  offer Eastern Acupressure Facials which through pressure point therapy again encourages excellent blood flow whilst releasing tension around the neck, face, sinuses and jawline.

Holistic Therapy is essential to our well-being, taking the time for our own self care the benefits felt within our whole being reflect in our appearance and true beauty inside as well as out.
